The First Windmill I built - worked for a year - then failed...

This is the cause of my failure.  The winding must of touched the magnets, and then ripped the wires from the epoxy

It then wrapped wire around the main shaft

Once the unit seized, the main blades then got ripped apart by my brutal wind, I am sure it was all down-hill fro the point the magnet touched the coil!
