Unlock your DURON
First of all to unlock the DURON for the ASUS A7V you just need to unlock the multiplier.
This is done by using a lead pencil like a 4B with enough conductivity in it to connect the bridges on the CPU. I used a silver paste cause I knew with this motherboard I would only have to do it once. With the pencil you can erase the traces and try again with ease.
Look for L1 and connect all the traces. The ASUS motherboard will set the multiplier with its own jumper settings on board and all the rest is in the CMOS. On the ASUS board I bought by default all the settings on the board excluding the multiplier were already set for jumper less mode. Double check though.
If you need to set everything on your CPU here is a cool website I found for displaying what jumpers are what. Easy to use.
