controller card at reasonable cost with
auto patch, reverse patch, simplex capable
with vox key for TX (which makes this card a simplex repeater by plugging into a mike, and
ear plug on a handheld, simple!) or the normal carrier detect, and many other functions.
Another application for this card could be with a programming change, an intercom at the
front door of a house, which when someone rings the button (looks like door bell button),
this unit hooked up to the house phone line, could place a call to a cellular phone that
you specify, call it, and therefore enable you to talk to the person at your door, they
can also talk back, this would be good for security as the caller would assume you are
home, or if you had a parcel to get dropped off you could give instructions to the other
party. This unit can also be changed the way it operates by calling it with an
access code for setup options. |

The card built will be structured around a
Motorola microprocessor. With
the right engineering around this card the whole idea is to build a card at production
level that can be reprogrammed to serve almost any application possible. Even
upgrades for each application can be sold to customers as a downloadable program that
would upgrade their equipment. Also custom programming can be done to specialize
equipment for different circumstances.
The card will contain at the first level of development, all I/O 's that can be possible
for radio communication, eg:::, audio in, audio out, carrier detect, TX, with a bus on
board for stage two development as a plug in which will contain Digital signal processing
at this point.
Stage one can be used as a repeater |
